Am I Eligible for Virtual Care?

Patients age 4 and up may participate in Virtual Care, however not all conditions and services are eligible. To ensure patient safety, comprehensiveness and quality of care, we are only able to address the follow eligible services and conditions.  If you book an appointment for an ineligible service, you will be notified of the appointment cancellation and advised to seek in-person help elsewhere.

Eligible Services & Conditions

Eligible Conditions:

  • Acne

  • Allergy symptoms - Nose/Eyes

  • Asthma flare-up

  • Bacterial Vaginosis

  • Bug bites, impetigo, ringworm

  • Cankers in Mouth

  • Cold Sores

  • Coughing

  • Earache

  • Erectile Dysfunction

  • Eye Infection, Pink Eye, or Styes

  • Gout Flare Up

  • Head Lice or Scabies

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Herpes recurrence

  • Poison Ivy

  • Rash or Skin Condition

  • Shingles

  • Sinus Infection

  • Sore Throat

  • STI symptoms

  • Tick Bite (Lyme Disease Prophylaxis)

  • Toenail or Fingernail Infection

  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) symptoms

  • Yeast Infections

Ineligible Services & Conditions

Ineligible Conditions:

  • Narcotic renewal or prescription

  • Controlled subtsance renewal or prescription

  • Abdominal pain

  • Chest pain

  • Back pain

  • Conditions that require an in-person assessment

  • Cuts that would reasonably require stitches (longer than 1 cm)

  • Acute or new psychiatric crises or symptoms

  • Any emergency symptoms including: chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, allergic reaction, choking, altered state of consciousness

  • Head or neck injury

  • Under 4 years of age

  • Birth Control or Plan B

  • Review My Recent Lab Results

  • Prescription Renewal

  • Referral to a Specialist

  • Referral for Physiotherapy or Massage

  • Referral to Psychologist

  • Requisition for Blood Test, X-Ray, Ultrasound

  • Sick Note

  • Routine STI testing
